From now on, made-to-order designs will be made in one big weekly batch (possibly bi-weekly, depending on order volume and/or how this overall idea ends up going...). But, as of right now (Monday, August 7th, 2023), all MTOD will be dyed on Sundays, so that they're ready to rinse & ship on Mondays or Tuesdays.
CUT OFF TIME FOR THE TO-DO QUEUE:
FRIDAY AFTERNOON
Handmade-to-order designs ordered after this time (basically, any time after traditional business hours on Friday, and all day Saturday) may not be started until the following batch, depending on the # of orders already accumulated throughout the week.
For example: if you place an order on a Wednesday, any made-to-order item(s) in the order won't be started until Sunday. Then, those item(s) will be finished up & prepared to ship by Monday – or Tuesday, at the latest; putting a total of nearly one entire week between the time of placing your order to when it actually ships.
Example: If you place an order on a Friday (before the end of the business day), any made-to-order designs in your order will still be started on Sunday.
Example: If you place an order on a Saturday, depending the amount of items already lined up to-dye, any MTOD ordered on Saturdays may or may not be part of the batch that'll be started the next day (Sunday).
This is because I plan to most likely dedicate the second half of the day on Saturdays (at the very least) to prepping/tying the blank tees for Sunday's big batch.
࿊ Please keep in mind: The approximate processing times above do not account for the additional time required to ship to the destination. Estimated delivery times vary depending on location.
࿊ If you'd like to place an order, but need it delivered by a certain deadline, please feel free to reach out via email to find out if it's doable. I'll be more than happy to accommodate if at all possible, to ensure you receive your hand-dyed, one-of-a-kind designs on time!
࿊ If your order is unable to ship within the estimated timeframe outlined above, you'll be notified of any significant shipping delays via the email address included in the order information entered at checkout.
࿊ For orders containing a combination of both finished, ready-to-ship & made-to-order items: all items will be shipped together, at the same time, once MTOD are complete.
࿊ NOTE: Orders containing only finished, ready-to-ship items will not be affected by these changes. FRTSD generally ship the same, or next business day.
࿊ If your order contains a combination of both FRTS & MTODs, but would prefer the ready-to-ship item(s) to ship separately ASAP; please place separate orders.
(If the desire to do so is realized after an order has already been placed, no worries! – I'll be more than happy to assist; it's no hassle to create an invoice for the additional shipping costs).
࿊ The information on this page is most up-to-date, and therefore overrides all conflicting statements you may come across regarding approx. order processing times for handmade-to-order item(s) elsewhere on the site.
I'll get around to updating each & every page as soon as I'm able to. But, even then, it never fails that I overlook some [of the things that need updating].
Lastly, please keep in mind: this is an entirely experimental undertaking and is subject to change at a moment's notice. Any changes in plans will be included as an additional update at the top of this page.
